This row of lanterns can be used wonderfully as a Ramadan bunting.
Simply print out all 10 lanterns, glue them onto cardboard, cut them out, and color them in. Grab a hole punch and punch holes in the two top circles. Now all you have to do is thread the lanterns onto a pretty cord, tie a quick knot, and hang them on the wall!
Or you can make great window decorations out of them.
And here's how it works:
1. Color the lantern picture with colored pencils.
2. Cut out the picture with scissors.
3. Place the cut-out motif with the back side on a surface.
4. Now dip a tissue in the baby oil (or cooking oil) and apply a thin layer to the back of your picture. Instead of tissues, you can also use a brush or cotton pad. It's important to spread the oil evenly.
The cooking oil turns the paper into tracing paper!
Your motif will become transparent and the colors will shine even more than before!
Back now looks the same.
4. Then, take a clean tissue and dab off any excess oil. Let your masterpiece dry thoroughly for about 5 hours (or overnight).
5. You can attach the window sticker to the window using an adhesive strip.
