As-Salamu 'alaikum my dear little brothers and sisters in Islam!

Welcome to the second part of the story of our beloved Prophet Muhammad, may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him. I'm glad that this CD has reached you as well! Al-Hamdulillah will thank Allah, the Exalted, for giving us the opportunity to learn how this wonderful story continues!

Do you still remember the first part? Do you remember? We told you how the city of Makkah and its spring of Zamzam came into being when Hagar and Ismail, peace be upon him, were led by Ibrahim, peace be upon him, into the holy valley. We also learned how the Prophet Ibrahim, peace be upon him, and his son Ismail, peace be upon him, later built the Ka'ba. Not to forget Abraham's failed attack on the Ka'ba, which proved to be his own downfall when Allah, the Exalted, sent a flock of birds against him and his army to defend HIS House, the Ka'ba. Then we spoke about the lineage of the Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, about his birth, childhood, and youth. And finally, we told you about his wedding to Khadijah, may Allah be pleased with her.

Today, insha'Allah, we want to talk about how the first revelation of the Qur'an came to the Prophet Muhammad, may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him, and how he spread the message of Islam to the people. We also want to talk about the first migration of Muslims to Abyssinia and their three-year exile from Mecca. On this CD, you will learn how much suffering the Prophet Muhammad, may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him, and his friends in Mecca had to endure for their religion. But they did not let themselves be discouraged and remained steadfast in their faith. Thus, they have become shining examples for all of us! May Allah, the Exalted, also grant us patience and steadfastness! And may Allah, the Exalted, be well pleased with the noble companions of the Prophet, may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him! And peace, blessings, and salvation be upon the Messenger of Allah, and all praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds! Ameen!
