The Qur'an is the word of Allah, which He has sent to us out of His infinite mercy so that we may receive guidance and direction from it. It contains words of knowledge and wisdom that enrich us in all situations and bring our lives into harmonious balance. Words that naturally and beautifully shape our behavior, our character, and our way of thinking and feeling.
The First Reader's Qur'an serves as a contribution to the first encounter with these words. In addition to the very large and easy-to-read text, it contains empowering messages and everyday lessons from Surah Al-Fatiha and Surahs 78-114. These are teachings that touch the heart, promote a healthy Muslim identity, and strengthen the relationship with Allah, the Exalted – in the hope that our hearts will tremble when Allah is mentioned and our faith will be strengthened when Allah's words are recited.
