Muawiya ibn Jahim came to the Prophet (sas) and said, "I wanted to participate in jihad and came to you to ask your opinion." The Messenger (sas) asked, "Do you have a mother?" He said, "Yes." Then the Prophet said, "Go to her and stay with her; verily, Paradise is beneath her feet."
Abu Huraira reported that a man came to the Messenger of Allah (sas) and asked: "Oh
Messenger of Allah, who among people is most deserving of good treatment from me and of my good following? He replied, "Your mother." The man asked, "And who after her?" He said, "Your mother." He asked, "And who after her?" He replied, "Your mother." He asked, "And who after her?" He said, "Your father." (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
